Today marks the 7 year anniversary of the most joyful and heartbreaking journey of my life.

This blog has been many years in the making. Despite my genuine desire to help other hurting mamas, the task felt daunting. It just felt easier to keep procrastinating. Then I made a mistake, a mistake that is the ONLY reason you are reading this post today. I told ONE friend the day I wanted to launch this blog: ONE FRIEND, that’s all it takes!

I wanted to start this blog on my 7 year anniversary of the day I knew I was pregnant with ice baby!

At the time, sharing this date with my friend felt very reasonable. It bought me another few months to do what I do best; procrastinate! (To my credit, we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic known as COVID-19. Then add to that, the wildfires that are currently obliterating my gorgeous state of Oregon.) I really didn’t even have make up any excuses! Life has provided me so pretty epic reasons for procrastinating.

Alas, my procrastination plans changed with a knock at my door this afternoon. It was a bouquet of flowers from that ONE friend, the ONLY friend that knew TODAY was going to be my blog launch date.

God is truly in EVERY single life detail. He knows exactly what we need, when we need it. Turns out, I wasn’t procrastinating at all. I was waiting for HIS perfect timing.

Ice Baby Ministries starts today….. This blog is dedicated to my 13 little angels that are waiting for me in Heaven.
