What can possibly be accomplished in 5 days?  You may be surprised mamas. You are on this website because of 5 days. My life’s mission was created because of 5 days. My ministry, my purpose, my passion were all because of 5 days.

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart….” Jeremiah 1:5 NLT.

Mamas, 11 of my babies’ time on earth lasted less than 5 days. The world tells us a baby’s life only matters after a certain number of weeks; that life is not real, valued, or important until it reaches an arbitrary milestone.  But if the world was right, and my baby losses didn’t ‘count’, why was my heart shattered in a million pieces? Where was my deep ache coming from?  Even in my grief haze, I knew these were lies, I knew my babies’ lives ‘counted’. My heart knew the truth; my heart knew what the world could not understand.

“My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together the depths of the earth Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”  Psalms 139: 15-16.

Mamas hear me, whether your baby had a heartbeat or took a single breath. “…all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”   Your precious baby had a mission and purpose written on all over it from Heaven above.

Our babies are real. Our pain is real. Our grief is real. Our loss is real. Our heartbreak is real. Our babies matter. Our babies have purpose. Our babies came with a mission regardless of their number of days. And best of all, our babies are safe in Heaven.  Mamas, lets live a life that makes our babies proud.
