BABY HATS
How to honor my babies? What if I started a baby hat ministry? I could donate them to the hospital. One small problem, I didn’t know how knit a baby hat! Then God stepped in… When meeting with our new tenants, one of them was knitting a hat on a circular loom. She showed me how she knitted the hat and the finished product. I went home bought the loom and yarn and the rest is history.
BRACELETS
I wasn’t looking for this ministry. A new friend made me a beautiful beaded bracelet. She offered to teach me how to make my very own, and I accepted! I chose all blue beads and made my first ever ‘ice baby bracelet’. My friend then insisted on taking me to the craft stores and setting me up with my own supplies. The rest is history.
BLOG
I DEFINITELY wasn’t looking to start this ministry. In fact, it was the exact opposite! I resisted for a long long long time. But God’s whisper persisted. I told one friend about this whisper. That same friend has also read every blog I have ever posted. The rest is history.
Each of these beautiful ice baby legacies has one common thread: God used someone to help me. That someONE was the catalyst for each ministry. I did nothing on my own. Hear me mamas, we were not created to do life alone, we were meant to cry alone, grieve alone, laugh alone, or celebrate alone. Don’t walk this path alone.
